NOAH- Wednesday

We had a great day today!
The teams are beginning to see a finish line on some of the projects.
They are working so hard.

The Teams today:

1. Team Tony "The MAN"- tile, wood floor sanding, crown molding, etc.
2. Team Paint and more Paint- painting different day same house
3. Team Ben and Gregg's Electrical Co. and more- troubleshooting all New Orleans
4. Team Under 16- 9th Ward yard work

We heard the stories of the people of Orleans. We were all touched. The people have just tried to keep going. If the hurricane didn't get them the contractors did. Many people paid in the thousands to have work done up front and the contractors never showed back up. Volunteers came in to patch and fix a lot of homes.

The 9th Ward was the hardest hit area and the loss and devastation 4 years later is unbelievable. Homes were underwater (16 to 20 feet) for weeks.

We have one more day of work.

Pray we finish the painting project. We will show you the colors of the house because some of the crew has permanently painted themselves with the paint. Some did not get the memo that the paint was to go on the walls not each other.

Good Night! My alarm goes off in 4.5 hours.

Pictures are coming in the morning. This blog thing is harder than I thought.
